چکیده
We analyse the one-loop fermionic contribution for the scalar e ective potential in the temperature dependent Yukawa model. In order to regularize the model a mix between dimensional and analytic regularization procedures is used. We nd a general expression for the fermionic contribution in arbitrary spacetime dimension. It is found that in D = 3 this contribution is nite. Pacs number: 11.10.Ef, 11.10.Gh. e-mail: [email protected]

متن کاملA ug 2 00 9 Report on the Detailed Calculation of the Effective Potential in Spacetimes with S 1 × R d Topology and at Finite Temperature
In this paper we review the calculations that are needed to obtain the bosonic and fermionic effective potential at finite temperature and volume (at one loop). The calculations at finite volume correspond to S 1 × R d topology. These calculations appear in the calculation of the Casimir energy and of the effective potential of extra dimensional theories. In the case of finite volume correction...
متن کاملThe Finite Temperature Phase Diagram of a U(1) Higgs-Yukawa Model
The finite temperature phase diagram of a U(1) Higgs-Yukawa model at a finite value of the scalar self coupling λ is investigated by means of a large-Nf calculation and numerical simulations. The phase diagram is similar to the one at zero temperature and shows a ferromagnetic, two symmetric and an antiferromagnetic phase. However, the phase transition lines are shifted to larger values of the ...
متن کاملA Hard Convex Core Yukawa Equation of State for Nonassociated Chain Molecules
The compressibility factor of nonassociated chain molecules composed of hard convex core Yukawa segments was derived with SAFT-VR and an extension of the Barker-Henderson perturbation theory for convex bodies. The temperature-dependent chain and dispersion compressibility factors were derived using the Yukawa potential. The effects of temperature, packing fraction, and segment number on the com...
متن کاملYukawa Coupling Contribution to Magnetic Field Induced Dynamical Mass
By solving the gap equation in the quenched, ladder approximation for an Abelian gauge model with Yukawa interaction in the presence of a constant magnetic field, we show that the Yukawa interactions enhance the dynamical generation of fermion mass. The theory is then studied at finite temperature, where we prove that the critical magnetic field, required for the mass generation to be important...
